Writer's purpose in Lou's Place

Writer’s purpose and how he/ she accomplish this
Lou’s Place
The writer’s purpose is to give readers a vivid picture of the restaurant. The writer attempts to share her experiences with the reader. The use of sensory images and adjectives allows the reader to become part of that experience. The writer also uses flashback to give the reader an image of the restaurant and her experiences at that place.
The writer uses the visual picture created by the use of sensory images to give the readers a clear understanding of Lou’s character. For instance, in describing the room at the restaurant, the writer refers to one of the table as the family table which signifies that Lou adores her family and that they are always at the restaurant.
Lastly, the writer also wants to convey to the reader her exact feelings towards the place. The reader gets the impression that the writer feels that though years have passed many of the features of the restaurant have remained the same.
